Welcome to the Old Grain Store, in 2013 I bought the Old Bakery (next door) to convert from a derelict wreck into my office for my plumbing company and the Old Grain Store to use as a Storage space, during the renovations we removed the original bakery twin ovens and the remnants of the Chimney, as they had trees growing up them and they were unsafe. I then got sued by a Neighbour who claimed they owned the Chimney, pre-court trial, whilst the lawyers looked into the history of the bakery and Mews, we found out the Bakers made illicit Gin in the mews over 100 years ago, we tracked down the family descendants and obtained the once illicit Recipe, just for fun (no more than a glorified Hobby) we resurrected the illicit gin using the original 4 botanical recipe. Its one of the smallest gin distilleries in the UK (Old Bakery Gin) we now supply Buckingham Palace, Harrods, Fortnum & Mason with Gin, Rum and our new Whisky.
