Baileys was established in 1985 by Kevin Bailey who had been working in the village as the manager for another Estate Agency since 1977. A department specialising in Holiday Rentals was created as there is a huge demand for this due to the areas beautiful beaches, Chichester Harbour and the lovely surrounding countryside.
Baileys are now the longest established Estate Agency in the area and after 35 years of doing business still remain firmly independent.
Our friendly and conscientious team, which includes John, Freddie, Ruaridh, Kim, Angela and of course Kevin provide unrivalled local knowledge of the area from Chichester to the coastal villages of East and West Wittering, Bracklesham Bay, Birdham and Itchenor. Their experience has built up an enormous amount of trust and a high proportion of our business comes from repeat business and recommendations from satisfied clients.

At a quick two minute walk to the beach, this stylish and immaculately presented property is a hidden gem. The Rife is tucked away on a quiet lane, adjacent to the stream that gives it its name, and is also only a five minute walk to the village shops and cafes.
The Rife's interior is finished to a very high standard. The ground floor is beautifully bright and deliciously comfortable. The openplan living area is naturally divided from the large and thoughtfully equipped kitchen by its counter and stools. Large windows give views to the garden with a wide glass door opening onto the decking. The kick-back and relax atmosphere is accentuated with warm lighting, a surround-sound system, enticing sofas and armchairs, and underfloor heating.
The five bedrooms are split through the property. The two upstairs bedrooms are built into the redesigned eaves and have additional velux windows to further brighten them, and are cleverly designed to maximise space. The Rife's upstairs family bathroom, and two downstairs shower rooms are superbly functional with bags of style.
A covered gravel extension adjacent to the house is excellent as an extended play area, or for inside-out barbecues on less than perfect days.
The garden is enclosed and spacious for pets and young visitors to play freely, with low level decking for al fresco dining and relaxing when the weather suits.
The Rife is great for families and friends wanting a laid back, high-quality stay with surf, sea, beach and nature on the doorstep.
Pets allowed! (maximum of two dogs)
