The Stables is the perfect romantic retreat for two, a lovingly renovated spacious cottage complete with wood burning stove, in an ideal location to explore all the Cotswolds has to offer.

For dining out, there are various dining experiences; The Kings Arms in Mickleton is a fine Cotswold pub and restaurant, The Thatched Tavern in Honeybourne is a quintessential country pub offering a good selection of local ales and quality food and The Lygon Arms in Chipping Campden offers afternoon tea. The bustling town of Chipping Campden is a must see chocolate box Cotswold favourite, brimming with independent shops, tearooms, art galleries and is home to a plethora of shops, pubs & restaurants. Every year in late May, Chipping Campden hold the world famous Robert Dover’s Olimpick Games. A must see is the shin kicking and tug o’ war competition as well as many other sporting events. Throughout the surrounding areas there are an wealth of excellent walks with the war memorial in the centre of Chipping Campden acting as the official start and finish of the 100 mile Cotswold Way. You can enjoy the delights of the nearby surrounding counties of Oxfordshire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire. From Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds to the south, to Worcester and the Malverns to the west plus Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick (with the best medieval castle in Europe) all within an hour's journey. In addition there are an abundance of stunning stately homes such as the National Trust’s Hidcote House & Gardens, Sezincote Estate and Kiftsgate Gardens as well Batsford Arboretum. If you love horse racing there are, of course, the Races at Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon, and Point-to-Point racing.
