Company information

We are a small family run inn with a fantastic team of people passionate about hospitality, food and customer service. The majority of our team have either always lived or have spent many years living locally with extensive knowledge about the local area and Norfolk.

Property information

The Swan is in the village of Hilborough which has very strong connections to Lord Nelson and his family. We are classed as rural but accessed by a main road. Our building is over 300 years old and was originally built as an Inn, after one change to a post office many years ago, it is now back providing cosy stays and great food to guests on their travels. We offer traditional, hearty food but with a varied menu that includes gluten free, smaller portions, children's and vegan options. We are a dog friendly in our rooms, bar and beer garden.

Neighbourhood information

The Hilborough Swan is located in the beautiful Norfolk country side with Thetford forest a short distance away for many good walks and wildlife. Norwich, Kings Lynn, Bury St Edmunds and not forgetting the many beautiful beaches and coastlines that Norfolk has to offer are all between a 30 & 50minute drive away.
