Trout Cottage is a cosy and warm little cottage tucked away in a quiet backwater. It has everything needed for a relaxing holiday away from it all. The large downstairs bathroom has underfloor heating and all bed linen and towels are provided. The cottage is within easy walking distance of all the many local shops, bars and restaurants. The bus and train stations are just around the corner. Filey has a very good golf course, with stunning views of Filey Bay and Bempton Cliffs which has a RSPB reserve, which is a 8 minute drive away.

I have lived in Filey all my life and absolutely love it especially during the winter months when it is quieter. I love walking on Filey beach and enjoy playing golf. I really enjoy running my holiday cottage and getting lovely remarks about my cosy little cottage from guests.

There are plenty of restaurants in Filey eg Italian x 3 San Marco, Bella Italia and The Gondola), Indian x 2 (Monsoon and The Curry House) Chinese x 3 (Gold river, Kam Sam The Ocean) and 3 fish and chip shops (Inghams, The Brown Room and Dicky Bees). We now have a great new cocktail bar which has been opened in the old Yorkshire Bank keeping all the art deco themed style. There are many coffee bars and a Bistros. We do not have a bank anymore but we have a Post Office where you can do most things. There is a museum on Queen Street which is very much worth a visit. You cannot stay in Filey without exploring Filey Brigg and having an ice cream.
