Upper End House is a stylish contemporary home offering spacious accommodation just a few miles from beautiful Burford and a five minute walk from the charming village of Shipton-under-Wychwood, with three great village pubs and a well-stocked local village store with post office.

With the choice of three local pubs in the village: The Wychwood Inn is an award winning restaurant and pub providing seasonal menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner; The Lamb is a traditional Cotswolds pub serving a hearty classic British menu; and The Crown, nearly 700 years old, it is one of the oldest inns in the country, with an open fire and a delicious menu. With many more pubs and restaurants and tea rooms a little further afield, this cottage is well suited to those who enjoy sampling local ales and fresh, local produce often very welcome after exploring the myriad of local walking and cycling routes.

Adjacent to the enchanting Wychwood Wild Garden, with its 12.5 acres of avenues, woods and ponds.
This area is also blessed with things to do with the stunning town of Burford just 10 minutes away.
Both approximately 6 miles away are Jeremy Clarkson's famous Diddly Squat Farm with farm shop and Big View Café, Chipping Norton; and also The Farmer's Dog pub near Burford; as featured in the hit Amazon Prime television series and best selling books.
The Cotswold hotspots of Stow-on-the-Wold, Bibury and Bourton-on-the-Water are all within easy striking distance.
Oxford is just over 20 miles away and closer still is Woodstock and Blenheim Palace.
