We extend a warm friendly welcome to all guests travelling to Maritime Portsmouth. I am well acquainted with the area having been born and brought up locally, i can help with information on all the attractions and i will always strive to do my best to help you enjoy and have a pleasurable stay.

Property information

The Waverley Park Lodge is a Victorian property built in 1885, although old the building is continually being renovated and modernised with some of the original features being restored, nowhere is this more apparent than the dining room and hallway stairs. we have upgraded all our access areas with automated lighting which comes on as you approach, there is no need to use switches which is handy if you are carrying lots of suit cases. We have also installed super fast free WiFi which extends through out the house. Road parking permits are required and obtained from us upon your arrival, during official check-in times. Parking permits are required between the hours of 16:30-18:30 ONLY, 7 days a week. Also please note we do not offer safe motorcycle or bicycle storage.

Neighbourhood information

Located in central SouthSea we have very easy access to the city. Albert road which is a 2 minute walk offers you plenty of choice for food and drink from fast food to restaurants pubs and wine bars. you can catch the bus from here to Gunwharf Quays or the QA Hospital. We are the nearest B&b to the Wedgewood rooms which hosts music and comedy events and the Kings Theatre which was designed by the architect Frank Matcham.
