Woodlands Cottage Farm is set in the Meon Valley in the South Downs national Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty near the River Meon. Walking in the immediate area is quite superb with stunning views over Hampshire and to the Isle of Wight. The 16th century village of Wickham is a mile away and can be reached via a disused railway footpath. We have cattle and chickens on the farm. Cross Channel ferries, including Brittany Ferries, run from Portsmouth, a 20 minute drive away. Southampton is 10 miles away and the historic city of Winchester 16 miles. Breakfasts include Full English, continental, scrambled eggs with salmon and more, all home produced or locally sourced. We are also committed to low plastic use and sustainable bathroom products.

We are delighted to welcome you to our home with it's purpose built self-contained extension for letting. The room is 42 m2 with an en-suite shower room, wide screen TV, piano and large seating area with a log burner. We are both professional musicians and also produce beef on our small-holding and are interested in high quality, sustainable food.

The 16th century village of Wickham lies one mile south of the property. This can be reached along the lovely, wooded, disused railway line and has a small supermarket and some excellent restaurants. The local pub., the Roebuck Inn, is at the road end of our farm track and is a fabulous Indian restaurant but you will need to book as it is incredibly popular! Winchester with its' cathedral, architectural landmarks, museums, galleries, shops and restaurants, is a very pretty 30 minute drive from us. Chichester with its' cathedral, independent shops and reknowned theatre is a 30 minute drive east. Salisbury is a 50 minute drive.
