Woodlands is situated in the quiet, rural village of Ireby, Cumbria, in easy reach of the tourist hubs of Keswick, Penrith, Carlisle and Gretna Green. The main house was built as the rectory to the village in the Victorian era and retains many period features. The garden annex was added in 1980s. We promote green tourism and sustainability ranging from our biomass heating to LED lighting, wild flower meadows to single-use plastic reductions, and we use a wealth of local and British producers in our meals.
