Through a journey that started in 2001, Oreo Travel was founded by Stratos Beretis, an experienced member of the Greek Tourism Industry, a Graduate of the Department of Economics of the University of Crete and a Master Degree Holder in Tourism Business Management. Having passed through several management positions, he was won over by the occupation with tailor made tourism services and especially in inbound tourism in villas, independent properties, country houses and small holiday rental units. Oreo Travel started as a representative of global tour operators and continues to this day with an ever-growing network of partners and properties in Crete, Peloponnese and Athens, in line with the new promotional and managing methods. Our goal at Oreo Travel is to promote the properties we partner with in the best way possible, by solely operating as a booking agent on behalf of our partner-property owners, whom we advise and guide in providing high standards of hospitality for their guests, in accordance with the regulations and the laws that govern the accommodation industry. Furthermore, we are constantly available for our guests to answer questions, solve potential problems that may arise while booking or staying in and to recommend services that may be needed to facilitate their stay and maximize their travel experience (car rental, transportation, tours, excursions and concierge services). Villa Alexandros is a fully restored (2022) beautiful stone build construction, that is dated back to 1885. The villa is 270sqm for up to 12 persons. In front of the villa there is a paved patio area with a private 30sqm pool , with sunbeds and umbrellas. On the ground floor there is a living area with a fireplace and a TV set. Three steps lead, through a stone beautiful arch, to a fully equipped open-plan kitchen area. There is a large dining table, a large fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a microwave oven , espresso coffee machine and all modern appliances. Next to the kitchen, there is a WC and a utility room with the washing machine. Further more on the ground floor there are three bedrooms (2 of them with a double bed each and one with 2 single beds) all with en suite bathrooms .From the kitchen there is access to the veranda, equipped with patio furniture , a large stone built sofa and a built in BBQ with a traditional oven. On the uppler floor there are 3 more bedrooms (2 of them with a double bed each and one with 2 single beds) all with en suite bathrooms. All bedrooms are individually air-conditioned and offer smart tv's.. All areas of the villa are covered with Wifi.

The village Skouloufia, is situated 18km from Rethymnon Crete (20 minutes driving), 75km from Heraklion (port and airport) and 8km from the nearest beach in Stavromenos Rethymnon (7 minutes driving). The surrounding area of Skouloufia village has an archaeological interest. There are many destinations easily reached like the ancient town of Elefterna (3km away), the famous Monastery of Arcadi (8km away), the cave in village Melidoni, many Byzantine churches that are spread all around the district and the old town of Rethymnon, the pottery village of Margarites are only a part of the many destinations. Of course from this site is easy to plan many excursions even to the other districts of Crete. In the village of Skouloufia guests can find very good taverns and mini market. Apart from the sandy beach in Stavromenos, there you will also find shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, and taverns. In a quiet village with a couple of taverns and a mini-market. 10 minutes drive to the beach and the amenities.
