Villa Kalypso is located in the beautiful settlement of Dafni and is 4 km from the nearest village of Nerotrivia, which has a minimarket, a bakery, a butcher shop and a traditional tavern run by a local butcher who serves high-quality local meats. In the summer there is a small supermarket available, a beach bar and a restaurant near the beach. Nearby are two beautiful taverns that offer fresh fish by the sea and local meats. In addition to the beautiful beaches, one can enjoy nature and the beautiful hiking trails of the nearby mountain. The nearest town is Politika (20 minutes by car), and the nearest town is Chalkida (30-45 minutes by car), the capital of the island of Evia. By car, you can make daily visits and excursions to: Politika, (20 minutes by car) a fishing village with a nice beach, many seafood restaurants and some bars. Agios Yannis Rossos (45-60 minutes by car), a well-known monastery with many visitors all year round. Steni (60-80 minutes by car), a picturesque village with plane trees and a river at the top of Mount Dirfi. Limni Evias, a beautiful seaside town on the western shores of northern Evia, built amphitheatrically above the usually windless northern Evoikos gulf. It is worth walking through the narrow streets and seeing the neoclassical architecture of most of the houses as well as the vibrant colors with which they are painted, while on the beach you will find a multitude of ouzeri (seafood taverns), restaurants, cafes and bars, all next to the sea and with an excellent view of the Evoikos bay.
