We are a small collective of sea and nature lovers, and we feel lucky to call Stavros home. Our apartments are located in this peaceful seaside village, surrounded by small gardens and a laid-back atmosphere that invites you to slow down and enjoy. Part of a protected wildlife reserve, the area feels like a little escape into nature. The main beach of Stavros, known for its white sand and turquoise waters, has received the Blue Flag award for meeting high standards of cleanliness, environmental protection, safety, and services. Spend your days unwinding on the soft sands or take time to explore the beautiful surroundings. Discover nearby villages just a few minutes’ drive away, or hop over to Chania’s charming Old Town in about 25 minutes. Though once you settle into the rhythm of Stavros, you might not want to leave at all. Stavros Bay has shallow, gentle waters on one side, ideal for all ages - especially toddlers, kids, and anyone who prefers calm seas. In the village, you’ll find several cafés, traditional tavernas, two mini-markets, and a local bus that stops four times a day. In the evenings, relax at a nearby taverna or cook something simple and enjoy it outside as the sun sets and the stars start to appear over the mountain. Just a few minutes’ walk away is Pachia Ammos - a beautiful beach and a nesting site for endangered Caretta-caretta sea turtles. The accommodation is just a 60-second walk from the beautiful sandy beach of Stavros. Around the beach, you’ll find plenty of traditional tavernas and cafes offering a variety of delicious options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Two additional mini-markets are just a few minutes' walk away, offering fresh bread, milk, fruit, vegetables, and other essentials. A larger supermarket is located a short drive away. There are a few buses daily between Stavros and Chania, and taxis are also available at any time.
