Zen House was born as an idea from our intention to create a space that we could invite our friends, share time and conversations, celebrate moments and create ideas in a tranquil environment overlooking this amazing sea view! The spot itself has an amazing energy and light that we always wanted to share! Traveling around the world, collecting ideas and experiences, growing personally and professionally, the vision was revealed and the concept was created. A family project that combines the professionalism and expertise of Vagelis as an architect engineer, dedicated to designing and constructing buildings with minimal ecological impact, revealing the potentials of the site and the space, and the international experience of Marianna on the event management field of business and her pursue of continuous growth and inspiration through alternative healing practices, communities and retreats across the world. The Zen House lies in a private and secluded environment over-hanging a cliff of the Cretan Sea yet within easy reach (15km/30mins) of the international airport and capital city of Heraklion, the location combines the ideal contrast of the tranquility that one seeks in order to relax, reflect, study or practice and also offers the life of the local downtown, historical sites, public beaches and mountain villages.
