WaVi Cradle Cottage is eco-friendly, build last year from 80% wood, bamboo, and straw. Brick and cement only in the bathroom and kitchen area. Inside cottage there is a nice loft (with beautiful view of mountain and green terraces) where two people can sleep comfortably. This loft is accessible by fixed, safe and sturdy ladder from bedroom. There is 1 bedroom with comfortable and cozy queen bed, a lovely full bathroom, a tiny cute kitchen and beautiful wrap-around deck on three sides with different areas to lounge and relax. We have floor cushions, seat cushions, Thai cushions, and hammocks to suit every relaxing mood you have. Our bathroom has a surprise that our guests really like, and enjoy very much! We really recommend that guests stay at least two nights or more for better experience at the cottage. There is no air conditioning (not necessary), but there are fans here. Night and early mornings are quite cool, so jacket or sweater will be good. Blankets are available if required. The atmosphere when it’s getting night is very interesting and amazing, several natural noises can be heard of crickets, frogs, geckos, etc. Also you can see many beautiful lights on the hill at night. There are plenty of power outlets available in the cottage. There is lock box for your valuables. We have small WiFi adapter that can use around the cottage ONLY for BASIC internet access. Please NOTE that WiFi here can be spotty because of low location. We have tried all the different services and devices available in this area. We are hoping cable internet will come soon to our little village. We have electricity at the cottage, also water from village. We need to consider about we live in the village that water sometime can be low in pressure. Most times the water pressure is good. Electricity can at times off, but comes back soon normally.

There is a mosquito net for the bed and lotion if you prefer that for occasional mosquito. As we live in the middle of lush rice fields, we can see birds, bees, dragonflies and many kind of bugs and insects, but there is no reason to worry, we always keep the cottage clean and safe. There is no washing machine or dryer here. We have clothes stand for drying. We also have very good laundry service nearby at friendly price. In the morning the housekeeper will set breakfast of fresh fruits, cereal, bread and eggs along with coffee, tea or juice as you prefer at the time you like (Breakfast is included in daily charge). In case you wish to have lunch or dinner at the cottage, please ask the housekeeper what would you like cooked fresh for you at a reasonable price. If you are interested she can also teach you how to make local Balinese dishes. You are welcome cooking together with the housekeeper! We grow several vegetable in our garden, and use as much our own vegetable in cooking our meals. You can help in our garden if you wish, or give us your valuable idea and suggestion about kitchen garden. Aqua mineral water is always available at the cottage, feel free to fill your bottle before your hikes to waterfalls. We have refrigerator in the kitchen.
