As one of the few people in and around Ruteng she speaks English perfectly, as she has lived in Australia many years. So she can give you exclusive travel advice and organize drivers and guides for you too.

Hobbit Hill is a very special and personally run Guesthouse in a quiet area just a few minutes out of Ruteng city center. It consists of a roomy bungalow with bathroom with hot water shower and a lovely terrace in a lush garden. In the main building you find another three rooms with new comfy beds and terraces too. From here also you enjoy a very nice view to the surrounding mountains. As a new feature Hobbit Hill provides WiFi. Of course all the rooms have mosquito nets too. Free coffee and tea is offered to all the guests. People interested can have dinner at the family table at a reasonable rate. Udis is an excellent cook. For drivers who would like to spend the night at Hobbit Hill we provide a special drivers room.
