The villa is a traditional Balinese style, with hand carved friezes and unique carved wood features. Downstairs is the living, dining area and kitchen. The second bedroom flows off the living area, with it's own ensuite bathroom. Upstairs is the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and 2 large balconies overlooking the neighbourhood and rice fields on both sides, with views for sunrise and sunset. Both bedrooms are air conditioned. The street is a traditional village street, just a block away from the main road into the rice field. *Please note : There is no car access into our street - only walking and scooter access. From the main road the walk to the villa is a few minutes up a moderate hill. Because of the hill, guests with mobility issues may not find the villa suitable. CHECK-IN Because our villa has no direct car access your check-in needs to be co-ordinated with our staff. They will meet you at the main road when you arrive, and escort you and your luggage to the villa by scooter. They will do the same when you depart. CHECK-IN HOURS : The villa is our home, and the staff don’t live on the property. They’re available for check-in from 2-630pm. If you will be later than 630pm we ask that you use our local driver for your pickup, and he will co-ordinate your check-in at the same time. He will charge a standard IDR450,000 for an airport pickup. Please ask us for the price from any other location in Bali. For check-ins after 630pm without the driver we will need to call our staff to come from home, and there is a callout fee of IDR350,000.

We fell in love with this villa for it's beautiful balconies overlooking the neighbourhood, as well as its central access to Ubud's museums, temples, restaurants and cultural attractions. You won't need a car or scooter while you're here - its perfect for families who want easy accessibility.

Our street is at the star behind the main road of Ubud at the start of a rice field - less than 5 minutes walk up a short hill from the main road. There's no car access into our street, so you can enjoy the sights and sounds of rural life, without the traffic noise of Ubud centre. From time to time you will hear the typical sounds of any Balinese rural village - chanting, frogs, geckos, the occasional rooster. We're close to the Pura Dalem Temple, so you may also hear some chanting when they practice for the full moon ceremony.
