Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Located one mile from Kilcrohane village in Sheeps Head peninsula, the house has sea views and is located near a hill which offers way marked trail walks. There is a view of Dunmanus Bay from the house. In the summer season swimming is popular. Visiting the village playground with young children or drives to visitor attractions, historic sites or scenic areas are also options. Cork city is 1hr 40mins drive from the house. I email directions and grocery shopping options for guests on their way here for check in.

I like outdoor sports and activities such as cycling and hill walking. Meeting groups to explore trail walks and orienteering I find particulary interesting and rewarding. A bit of swimming is also a plus. I make a guide book available to guests containing popular local attractions within 30km radius of the house. A house user manual is also left available to guests. However I have no issues with guests contacting to explain further or anwer questions where a certain item is located. Im also available to call over to the house upon request to help guests choose inteary of things they may like to do on their stay.

Quiet country road, near access to trail walks. Around a mile from local village with shop, restaurants and pubs. There is a children's playground at outskirts of village. Less than a mile walk to lake and strand. 2 miles from local pier which is the popular swimming destination. There is plenty parking at the property. Guests would typically take local walks along the trails sometimes taking a short drive to a trail head. Plenty of signed cycle routes. Coastal trail walks with way markers, and hill walks sign posted for more able walkers, many of these loops accessible from the property. Guests often walk the two miles to the local pier, and more easily walk three quarters of a mile to the local Strand and lake.
