Breacan Cottage B&B is a beautiful rustic cottage with panoramic sea views overlooking Galway Bay in the West of Ireland. We are located just outside the picturesque fishing village of Kinvara, Co Galway en-route of the Wild Atlantic Way. We are central to the Burren, Ailwee Caves, Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands, Galway City, and Connemara. Rooms are ensuite and we have Free Wireless Internet Access. A delicious Continental breakfast is included and is served each morning between 7.30 and 10 A.M. We are approxamately 10 minutes drive from Kinvara village where there are many great restaurants and pubs with Live Traditional Music. We also provide a Laundry service for a small fee and there is free parking onsite. We are located on a remote peninsula so you will "NEED A CAR" to get here. Our B&B is called Breacan Cottage. Our address is Parkmore, Doorus, Kinvara, Co Galway. You drive through the village towards the Burren on the N67 for about 4 km and turn right at a sign called Knockgearra. You will see my B&B signs on route. We are located on the same road as Doorus Youth Hostel. Just drive to the end of that road and we are the last house on the left overlooking the sea.
I am an Artist. I studied Fine Art in college many moons ago. My husband Noel is a farmer and he helps me with our B&B when he is not taking care of the cows.
We have a small private beach here just a few metres away which is perfect for swimming or sunbathing. During the mackeral season you can also fish at the pier outside our house. We have a holy well in one of our fields called St Breacans well where some of my mystical guests like to visit.
