I am relaxed and easy going, I enjoy living in the country side, picking mushrooms at dawn and making blackberry jam for family and guests. I like to cook bread and scones like my mother before me and garden so that I have herbs for my kitchen and flowers to cut for my home. I love and make the most of beautiful area in which I live, playing tennis in the local club, swimming, surfing and kayaking in the different beaches, all with in 15 min drive and walking in the woods. I take great pride in the time and help I give my guests

A warm Irish welcome to my house overlooking Cork Harbour. My hope is that all guests who visit Tranquile waters have a relaxing gentle time from their busy lives. The easy atmosphere and holistic way of life Mary creates in her home is unique and is appreciated by her visitors, as commented in her guest book …..One guest felt her time here became part of her ’ life’s journey’. The calm and serenity that is embodied in 'Tranquile Waters' is attractive to guests and many stay longer than originally anticipated. Maura, “I came for one night and stayed for four. While the house is in a private setting, it is only 30 minutes from Cork City, 30 min from Youghal and 15 min from Ballymaloe, Barnabrow and Midleton, where there is a wonderful farmers market. Award winning restaurant ten minutes walk. You are only a walk away from the sea, the woods and the lake.
