In spring 2019, Gabriela and Patrick Magyar took over Villa Cardeto from friends Ilona and Rolf Weber. As devoted and friendly hosts, they are committed to quality and personal care, according to the slogan created by Patrick for the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, "Die Welt zu Gast bei Freunden" (A time to make friends!)

The Bed & Breakfast Villa Cardeto is a charming Tuscan villa on a hill near Anghiari, in the province of Arezzo. The large park offers various opportunities to retreat to peace and quiet or to enjoy the fantastic view of the Tiber Valley! The six cosy rooms and flats are simple but very comfortable and furnished in Tuscan style. The spacious dining room with adjoining winter garden, a homely library with a large fireplace, the lounge and the small bar invite you to linger, as do the beautiful garden and the large pool area. Within a radius of 100 km or within an hour's drive you can reach some of Italy's most beautiful tourist attractions. 1) Anghiari - our medieval jewel In the immediate vicinity of Villa Cardeto there are several other Tuscan 'jewels', above all the small medieval village of Anghiari, on whose municipal territory Villa Cardeto is located. This charming village is located in the upper Tiber valley, with its castles, beautiful buildings and squares, and excellent restaurants and pizzerias full of atmosphere and charm. 2) The upper Tiber valley - unspoilt nature, picturesque towns The nearby picturesque and historic towns of Sansepolcro, Citerna, Monterchi, Città di Castello or Caprese Michelangelo (birthplace of the great artist of the same name) are a wonderful place to stroll and enjoy authentic Etruscan Tuscany.
