We are in “Capo d’Arco”, a private residential complex of about 200 units spread over more than 100 hectares, nestled within the Tuscan Archipelago National Park, in the Municipality of Rio dell’Isola d’Elba. Access is reserved exclusively for members and their guests and is regulated by a private security service. The services available to guests include bathing equipment, salt and fresh water swimming pools, tennis courts, five-a-side football pitch, beach volleyball courts, bars and restaurants, mini-market. There are also various nature trails both within the complex and in the surrounding areas, to be explored on foot, by bike or by motorbike. Our two-room apartment is part of the Casette called “Agrumeto” and is 250 meters from the swimming pool area and the sea. Capo d'Arco is a tourist resort located in the south-eastern part of the island, in the municipality of Rio but very close to the very touristy port town of Porto Azzurro, and is particularly known for its beaches, spectacular views and the tranquility it offers visitors. It is a private area, extending over more than 100 hectares nestled within the Tuscan Archipelago National Park, occupied largely by holiday homes, some of which belong to and are frequented by VIPs who find peace, tranquility and harmony in this private stretch of coast. The stretch of coast is also very beautiful for snorkeling with a medium-low and jagged cliff. The largest beach is the one called the crocodile, located on the right of the resort, whose name derives from a rock that touches the sea and has the appearance of a reptile.
