"The wave beach house " is a B&B located in Pescara, a modern city in central Italy that overlooks the Adriatic Sea. It' s 2,30 hours drive to Rome. The property is located in South Pescara, near the city center, a 10-15 minutes walk from beach (5 minutes by bike). This area is well serviced by pubblic transport. Around the house there are everyone principal services: supermarket, farmacy, butcher's shop, fruit seller, tobacconist, hairderesser, barber shop, bars and restaurants. The bedrooms (with air conditioning) are spacious and bright, they are combined with a private bathroom with access from the corridor, with an esclusive key. Each bedroom has access to the balcony. The forniture are modern and confortable. A cot is available for children under three years old at no additional cost. The use of the kitchen(shared with other guests) is permitted for quick meals. The property my decide to assign two or three bedrooms to groups of tree of four people to make the stay more confortable.

Pescara is a good place for your summer vacation because you can enjoy a wanderful sandy beach with shallow water, very suitable for children. The beach -a 10-15 minutes wolk from the house- is equipped with beach umbrellas and sun loungers and it has a lot of bars and restaurants. The best time to visit Pescara is in summer because it is hot and sunny every day. The Pescara's seafront is very nice: it has a very long cicle line, much love by adults and children. In Pescara, a short distance from the house, there are same museums: Gabriele D'Annunzio's house Museum, Museum of the people of Abruzzo, 19 th century Museum, Imago Museum, Cascella's Museum. One place you'll want to see is the "Touristic Port" - a 15-20 minutes to walk from the house, here there are excellent fisch and meat restaurants and pizza restaurant in an esclusive environment. There is also a small open air Theatre for summer shows. Pescara has a variety of eating places from top quality restaurants to cosy family cafes. You shouldn't miss weel- known dishes: arrosticini, fresh fish dishes, traditional desserts (Parrozzo, Bocconotto, Neole, Sise delle monache, fiadoni) and top quality wines (Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Pecorino, Cerasuolo). The local production of olive oil, which is the basis of mediterranean ciusine, is also extraordidary. Not for away we find the " Sea bridge " that crossed the Pescara River. It can be explored on foot or by bike. From the bridge you can admire a wanderful view of the sea and the mountains. Indeed the Maiella massif (inside the National Park of Abruzzo) is a 40 minutes by car from Pescara. Here you find amazing landscapes with a lot of plants species and wild animals (deer, wolves, bears...). A short distance from the house, near the beach, there is the "D'Annunzio Reserve": a pine wood that provide relief in the hottest hours of the day.
