Just 2 km from Greve in Chianti, the warm and familiar hospitality of Poggio ai Pianacci will welcome you to the idyllic Chianti countryside in an intimate setting rich in history and authenticity. This beautiful house with garden and swimming pool, on two levels, is PART of a stone farmhouse, nestled in a dominant and strategic position on the top of a hill, and enjoys a breathtaking view of the bucolic landscape that surrounds it: the hills, the little church, the romantic castle of Colognole, the cypress trees, the rows of vines as far as the eye can see and the well-kept olive groves. A private patio equipped with table and chairs in in front of the living. Newly renovated, the house offers on the ground floor a living room with a large kitchenette and dining area, a bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom complete with shower. On the loft there is another bedroom with 3 single beds, a half bath (no shower) and can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people. The characteristic of this house are the large swimming pool, equipped with deckchairs and sunshade, the large garden, rich in flowers and furnished with a sitting area, wooden gazebo and wrought-iron table, for your al fresco dinners on summer evenings. The owners live in the other part of the countryside, and garden and swimming pool are shared with them The amount displayed on the portal includes the owner's rent and the fee for the ancillary services provided to the guest by the Property Manager. These amounts will be better detailed in the rental contract and will generate two separate accounting documents for the guest at the time of check-out. The house is part of the farmhouse complex Il Poggio ai Pianacci, nestled among the vineyards and olive groves surrounding the picturesque town of Greve in Chianti, from which it is about 2 km away. In Greve in Chianti, halfway between Siena and Florence, you can breathe the air of hilly tranquillity and visit a medieval village where time seems to have stood still. We are in the heart of the area known as Chianti Classico, an area of excellence in the production of the world-famous wine of the same name, famous since the 14th century for the image of the black rooster reproduced by Vasari on the ceiling of the Salone dei Cinquecento in Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. Just a few minutes' drive from the town of Greve are countless farms and estates, such as the Vignamaggio farm and the castles of Uzzano and da Verrazzano, the Palagio di Panzano and the village of Lamole, where you can taste exceptional wines, especially the local Chianti Classico. The area is also ideal for the slower traveller. Greve in Chianti has medieval origins and is undoubtedly one of the most famous and fascinating towns in the Chianti area. It can rightly be considered the capital of the Florentine Chianti.
