"Studio Bellavista" is a 1 bedroom apartment with one small balcony and sea views from the bedroom and dining area. We completely renovated the entire 200 year old house which is located in the centro storico of Pizzo Calabro, a charming fisher village. The apartments are decorated in mediterranean style and with art works from local artists, they have new double glazed windows, wooden oak parquet flooring and Vietri tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms. For both apartments we restored original elements like stone walls and wooden beams. All bedrooms have air condition. From the balcony you can observe every evening a different sunset and on clear days you can spot the volcano Stromboli in the distance. You can park your car in the Studio's own garage. Please rent a small car.

Our team of family and friends - depending on who is available - will welcome you, hand over the key and explain everything to make you feel at home. From 2006 to 2011, we completely renovated an over 200 year old palazzo "Palazzo Pizzo" on the edge of a cliff which is our Italian home base and summer house. We started renting our unique guest residence "Palazzo Pizzo Residence" in 2013. Some years later, we engaged in another renovation project which resulted into the "Dependance delle Grazie" and "Studio Bellavista", two vacation rentals about 5 minutes walk from "Palazzo Pizzo Residence" across the main square. The house is located in the heart of the centro storico of Pizzo. Everything is just a stone throw from your doorstep: the main square "Piazza Repubblica" (50 meters distance) with a good choice of restaurants, pizzerias, several bars/gelateria (good for breakfast, ice cream, and drinks). Also in walking distance: grocery shops, deli shop, mini markets, a fruit and vegetable vendor, 2 barbers, hairdresser, tabac shop, souvenir and fashion shops, a farmacy, ATM, 10 churches etc.... Also the beach below the castle is in walking distance (10 minutes). You do not really need a car, except if you want to explore Calabria, its beautiful coast with many beaches and cultural hinterland. You should visit Tropea by car (35 km) or by local train (Pizzo's small train station is just 1 km from the house). Also Capo Vaticano, Scilla (a picturesque seaside village) and Reggio Calabria (museum) are easy to reach by train or car. From Vibo Marina (4 km form Pizzo) there are regular boats going for day trips to the Aeolian Islands and for "Stromboli by night". Pizzo is the ideal base to explore Calabria or just enjoy the South Italian lifestyle and relax. SEE YOU IN PIZZO!
