Welcome to Kiyomizu Sannenzaka Home in Kyoto! Our house is in a great location, just a minute walk from Kiyomizu-dera Temple and right next to the entrance to Sannen-zaka! In the mornings and evenings, when there are fewer tourists, you can quietly enjoy this old street full of Kyoto atmosphere. The property offers 12 apartment-type rooms with free Wi-Fi and 2 free parking spaces! Each room has its own kitchen, bedroom, bathroom with toilet and bath. However, please note that from 8 AM to 5 PM, as this area is a tourist attraction, there are consistently a large number of people. Driving during this time can be quite challenging.

This is the place where the Yasaka Pagoda is a classic Kyoto photo spot! Kodaiji Temple is the family temple (where the grave of Nene, the wife of the ancient warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi, is located). Nene, who lived nearby, used to walk up this hill and visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple in the hope that her child would be born safe and healthy. This is why the name 'Sannenzaka' (meaning 'safe delivery') was given to the slope. From Higashioji Dori, where the bus stop is located, walk east along Kodaiji Minamimon Dori until you come to Nene no Michi, where you will find a narrow alleyway on your right. There is a small signpost and this is Ichinenzaka. Passing through a quiet slope with souvenir shops between private houses, turn south to Nichinen-zaka and continue on to Sannen-zaka. At the end of Sannenzaka is Matsubara-dori, a busy slope where many visitors come and go as an approach to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. The path up this slope leads to Kiyomizu-dera Temple.
