Moorish House is a prefect family holiday home, situated in Aghmat in the Marrakech-Tensift-El Haouz region on the main road to Ourika Valley. Very convenient location around 18.6 miles to Marrakech which is a relatively short drive and a perfect get away from city. Towels and bed linen are provided. Outside the house is surrounded by olive trees and verity of fruit trees in nicely desgined gardens where native birds are a common sight. also on site: Spacious sunny terrace on top and the back of the house. Beautiful outdoor lightings throughout the gardens and around the house.- Designate barbecue area with a large tiled table and chairs. Very Spacious parking area within site. Our house caretaker would be on stand by should you need any assistance throughout your stay.

I currently work and live in London. But frequent traveller to Marrakech where most of my family live. Having Moorish House in Aghmat maintains and embeded my connection to the country and the people.

Hiring a car is highly recommended to get the most of this beautiful location. Aghmāt is located 18.6 miles from Marrakech and was an important medieval Berber town in mid-southern Morocco. It is today an archaeological site known as "Joumâa Aghmat”, where one of the oldest Hammam in the world is discovered. The area is hub for fruit and flower nurseries, Olive tree groves and prefect for bird watching, walking, hiking, scrambling and climbing activities. It is simply a great place to explore local traditions and landscapes, grocery shops, restaurants and banks are on close proximity. There is also, a weekly open air Berber market on every Friday.
