My place is located at a new building named Tropicana Macalister 218, known for it’s central and strategic location, as well as close proximity to various amenities and places of interest. There are few shops available downstairs, ie Bubble tea shop ‘INSTEA’, Bakery shop ‘Love A Loaf’, Sushi restaurant ‘Sushi House’, Mini Mart ‘Ace Mart’. Closer to home, there is the ‘Ghee Hiang’ outlet right next door, known for its Chinese pastries and sesame oil, it is highly convenient as takeaways of these are almost a prerequisite when visiting Penang. Other spots within 5-10 minutes walking distance including Loh Kei Duck Meat Koay Teow Soup, Siam road Char Koay Teow, New Lane Hawker stalls and Loh Guan Lye Specialist Centre.
