In the back of the green lush garden of Guesthouse Island Escape you will find this small glamping at the seaside. There you find 2 tipi tents on a platform with an outdoor shower and a separate toilet. The tents have good beds to make sure you have a good night sleep. Both tents have the best view to wake up to and we did our best to create some shade. You can use the kitchen from the guesthouse if you want to do some cooking or go to the various restaurants near Island Escape. Southend is a quiet safe area where you can relax to the max. The garden has stairs that go into the sea but for the best beach experience you go to the nearby Long Bay (400 meter) or Silversand (900 meter).

About 4 years ago I came to the island and fell in love with it right away. It is the most authentic island in the Caribbean and the vibe is very relaxed. I divide my time between the Netherlands and Nicaragua and you will most likely find me here in the cold winter months back in the Netherlands. Soaking up the sun and prepare for my work in summer. In the summer I work as a hostess and deckhand on a boat based in Amsterdam. I like meeting other people from all over the world and give them a great experience. Island Escape Glamping is located in Southend, one of the safest areas on Big Corn Island. Here you will find restaurants and good beaches in walking distance. As we are located in the backyard of Guesthouse Island Escape you have also access to a kitchen and the Terras. On the owner's property you will find the Tom Tom supermarket where you can get everything to prepare you own meal. But with some good restaurants on walking distance, I would also check some of the local restaurants like Relax for breakfast and the Tikibar for a good diner. Anyway ..there is enough around to have a great stay at the Island Escape Glamping. Looking forward to welcome you one day!
