IMPORTANT: It is electricity in the cabin, but no running water. It is a waterpump just outside the entrance door of the cabin. This is also drinking water. The cabin has a pit-privy toilet ouside of the cabin. There is no bathroom inside the cabin. In summertime you can drive to the door (toll road, NOK 80,- 2022) ABOUT THE CABIN: Cabin in Raggsteindalen, Hallingdal. Jonstølen is nicely situated at the foot of Hallingskarvet at 1015 meters above sea level. Great hiking opportunities in the area. Cross-country trails right outside the cabin. The cabin is located just 1500 meter from the border of Hallingskarvet National Park, with fantastic hiking opportunities during the summer and fall, and cross country skiing during the winter. Hallingskarvet Skisenter is just 15 km from the cabin. The ski center is famous for good off-piste opportunities as well as being family friendly. It is not allowed to go fishing in Strandavatnet (the lake closest to the cabin), but there are many other lakes for fishing in the area. BEDROOMS: Bedroom 1: Single bed. Bedroom 2: Single bed.
