This recently renovated mountain cabin in Havsdalen, Geilo, has quickly become a guest favorite thanks to its perfect blend of comfort, location, and charm. Set in peaceful surroundings with beautiful views toward Kikut, it offers a true sense of privacy while being just 900 meters from the nearest ski slope. In good snow conditions, you can even ski all the way down to the cabin. With 150 m² of space, five bedrooms, and room for up to 11 guests, the cabin is ideal for families and groups. The large living area with cozy furnishings invites you to relax after a day outdoors, and the fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals together. The bathroom includes two showers – one of them a luxurious steam shower – along with a washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience. There are also two separate toilets. Guests love the warm, welcoming atmosphere, the tasteful decor, and the large sunny terraces with mountain views. The cabin is located in the peaceful Havsdalen area of Geilo, one of Norway’s most beloved year-round mountain destinations. With stunning views toward Kikut and direct access to ski slopes in winter, the area is perfect for both alpine and cross-country skiing. When snow conditions are good, it’s even possible to ski right down to the cabin. A free ski bus stops just 1 km away at Bardøla Hotel. Geilo has been voted Norway’s best alpine destination several times and offers a wide variety of activities throughout the year. In summer and autumn, guests can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, fishing on the Hardangervidda plateau, and family-friendly adventures at Geilo Summer Park. It’s also a great base for the iconic Rallarvegen bike route from Haugastøl to Flåm, with train connections back for an easy return. The nearby village center, just 2 km away, has excellent restaurants, cozy cafés, well-stocked grocery stores, and top-notch sports shops known for their local expertise in outdoor equipment and clothing.
