You’ll have: • A cozy, cabin-style ground-floor apartment with your own private entrance, free parking, and a well-equipped kitchen for easy cooking. • A warm and spacious bathroom, and beds made with high-quality linens. • A fenced garden right outside your door – safe for children to play – with a trampoline and playset (swings and slide) available in the summer months. • Direct access to the fjord area, just across the road, where you’ll find a firepit surrounded by four comfortable chairs with reindeer hides – the perfect spot to relax, enjoy the view, and wait for the northern lights. • A hammock for lazy summer afternoons with breathtaking views of the mountains and water. • Pure mountain water, safe and delicious straight from the tap (or the Brita-filtered jug)! • Electric vehicle charging available on site – just NOK 50 per charge, ideal for those traveling sustainably. In winter, you can go ice fishing on the frozen fjord, borrow our snowshoes for hikes in the snow, or rent 1 snowmobile to drive on the frozen fjord (January-April depending on conditions). For extra comfort outdoors, you can rent warming snowsuits and ice cleats to stay safe and cozy in Arctic conditions. Keep an eye out for ravens and majestic sea eagles, especially in winter – they often gather nearby, waiting for the fishermen to leave their leftovers. In summer and autumn, explore the fjord by boat or SUP, or simply enjoy the long, light days under the midnight sun. You can even try your luck fishing from the boat! If you’re lucky, you might spot harbor porpoises (niser) gliding through the calm waters of the fjord. We’ve also installed a Skeeter Vac mosquito trap to keep the outdoor areas comfortable and bite-free.
