With a spacious, fully fenced section and a gated driveway, this property is ideal for families and pet owners. A dog-friendly kennel is provided, ensuring your furry companion enjoy the getaway as much as you do (please keep pets off the furniture and beds). Perfectly positioned, this home is just a one-minute walk to Mt Hutt transport and a three-minute stroll to local pubs and restaurants, making it an ideal spot for those looking to hit the slopes or enjoy Methven’s vibrant après-ski scene. Step inside to discover a warm and welcoming interior, with an open-plan layout designed for relaxation. The attached garage has been cleverly converted into a second lounge, complete with a couple of single beds for extra flexibility. Featuring garage carpet and sliding doors, this space provides additional comfort and privacy. Upstairs, the third bedroom is a mezzanine-style loft, open to the living area below, adding a unique architectural touch. Guests have access to the entire property, including the large fully fenced outdoor area, providing peace of mind for those with children or pets. Trev and I have just retired after selling both our pubs in town, and enjoying hosting guests and welcoming them to our amazing town. We only live 3 km out of town so handy if needed.
House is on a quiet cul-de-sac very close to town. Opuke Hot Pools is only an 8 minute stroll, and we provide towels. Mt Hutt is 35-40 minutes from town. Great mountain biking and hikes, and of course the Rakaia River for jet boating or fishing. Fantastic golf courses near by. Nestled in the charming alpine town of Methven, this light-filled home is the perfect base for adventure seekers and nature lovers alike. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain vistas and rolling countryside, this warm and inviting retreat captures all-day sun, offering a comfortable escape after a day of exploring.
