Our property is on 8 acres with views of beautiful gardens, ponds, native bush, lakes and stunning birdlife. We are only 5 minutes to the train station, Coastlands Mall, restaurants & cafe's and only 10 minutes to the beach. Matai Huka is a wedding venue and our boutique accommodation is our 5 star honeymoon suite set in a lovely quiet rural setting. We have a fully equipped kitchen, lounge with top end TV, separate bedroom, dining Area and glassed in deck to relax and take in the peaceful view.
I love gardening which is just as well as it is a full time job here! There is always something to do and I also love my "other" job planning weddings at Matai Huka!
We have a huge variety of things to do nearby including Southwards car museum, fantastic cafes and restaurants, trips to Kapiti Island by boat and lots of amazing walks for those who like to hike.
