Including free breakfast & wifi Newlands B & B offers rooms with garden & rural views. Breakfast will consist of fruit juice , tea or coffee with cereal, fruit & yoghurt, homemade bread toast and/or croissants. There is an indoor dining area or sit on our covered patio with a lovely garden view. An evening meal maybe possible on request or alternatively there are several local cafe & restaurant options within a short drive. We have a private guest lounge where you can chill out & read a book. Your room has a private bathroom with robes & toiletries. There is also a large spa in the garden where you can relax with a wine and enjoy the stars. (Additional cost) Our property is surrounded by a well established landscaped garden with areas of secluded seating to enjoy. Newlands B & B is approximately 15 minutes from Christchurch International Airport & 30 minutes from the central city. Alternatively Rolleston & Hornby shopping centers are only a 10 or 15 minute drive. Drop off & pick up from local venues for weddings or other functions can be arranged.

The hosts have done extensive travelling worldwide & have also lived overseas for four years. They enjoy meeting people from all nations & cultures and have also travelled extensively within New Zealand.

The local area has several wineries & golf courses within a short drive of the property. We are located on the main West Coast Road which is a gateway to ski fields, West Coast & Southern tourist attractions. Locally there are also a number of excellent options for trout & salmon fishing.
