PLEASE NOTE this space is for people who can easily climb a ladder and walk through a smaller than normal entrance way and children would need to be competent at climbing. Adults can stand upright at the highest point. The rear of the property is full of mature trees and at the top of a lighted stairway lies your Cove Cabin Bath Experience. A deluxe, two person stone bath providing wonderful evening and morning bathing in complete privacy. PLEASE NOTE there are a number of steps up to the house from the driveway and a number of steps up to the outdoor bath. The popular Dunedin cycle/walkway is right at the bottom of your driveway, so if you want to rent bikes this is a stunning loop track right around the harbour with great cafes and pubs to stop at along the way. You are only 10 minutes’ drive from many amazing coastal walks and surf beaches, the city delights and in 25 minutes ,at the tip of the Peninsula, you will find the world-renown Royal Albatross Colony – well worth a trip especially in breeding season. My husband Chris and I have lived in Dunedin for five years, a big-little city with lots of hidden gems that we are still exploring; from walking tracks and beaches, cafes and restaurants, architecture and art, people and fashion. We are parents of four children, and between their families another four grandchildren. The Cove Cabin has been our primary residence and what we loved most about this place was it’s close proximity to the city and all the amazing things you can do and see in Dunedin, but you still felt like you were on a holiday retreat every time you came home. The views, the birdsong and the immediate stillness amidst the far off city hum, give you time to catch your breath and reset. All people are important to us and we are happy to share our local knowledge and provide you a space to unwind and really relax while away from home. We are up a secluded driveway with three other homes that all face towards the harbour. The neighbourhood is very quiet and each home is private of each other. Everything is about 10 minutes drive away; Otago Museum, Settlers museum, Otago University recognised in the top 10 beautiful campuses worldwide. Main shopping precinct is also only 10 minutes away and so are the beautiful white sandy beaches of St Clair Beach with its restaurants and cafes, and Tomahawk Beach where you will often find Sealions. Tunnel Beach is only 15 minutes away. Closest supermarket is 5 minutes away.
