Rościszów is a village located in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in the Dzierżoniów district. It is a popular tourist destination due to its location in the Owl Mountains and rich history. The most interesting attractions of Rościszów include: Complex of adits "Rzeczka" in Walim. These adits, built in the 1930s, are part of the Riese complex, i.e. a network of underground tunnels and military complexes built in the Owl Mountains by the Germans during World War II. The observation tower on Wielka Sowa. This tower, located at an altitude of 1015 m above sea level, offers panoramic views of the Sowie Mountains and the surrounding area. Knight's castle in Sokolec. This stronghold, dating from the 14th century, was rebuilt in the 20th century. Church of St. George in Rościszów. This church, erected in the 14th century, is one of the most valuable monuments of Gothic architecture in the region. Rościszów - Kamionki tourist trail. This trail, leading through the picturesque areas of the Owl Mountains, is an excellent choice for hiking enthusiasts. In addition to the listed attractions, there are many other interesting places in Rościszów and the surrounding area that are worth visiting. These include, among others: Lake Bielawskie, located in the neighboring town of Bielawa Owl Mountains National Park The "Owl Mountains" bicycle trail Rościsz is a perfect place for a weekend trip out of town. Offering many tourist attractions, this village will surely appeal to lovers of history, nature and active recreation.
