Located in the heart of Transylvania, Ensana Sovata is only 200 metres from the helio-thermal Lake Bear, featuring salty water. It offers free WiFi and a breakfast buffet. All bright en-suite rooms provide a balcony, a satellite TV, a minibar and air conditioning. Non-smoking, allergy-friendly and wheelchair accessible rooms are available as well. Guests of the Ensana Sovata can benefit from the spa area with swimming pool, salt-water pool, sauna, steam bath, adventure bath, relaxation room, fitness room and free bathrobe use. A free ticket to the Lake Bear is provided in July and August. Lake Bear (Lacu Ursu), the only helio-thermal lake on the continent, heats up to 50 degrees Celsius due to sun energy absorbed through the upper, fresh-water layers. It is also called the Dead Sea of Transylvania because of its high concentration of dissolved salts.
