This 90 year old rural cottage by the magnificient Little Danube river in the north corner of Great Rye Island, the biggest river island in Europe, is a perfect place for ultimate calmness and peace. Originally built by a farmer family, completely renovated in 2020, equipped with all facilities from washing machine, high speed internet to outdoor shower. Enjoy the sunset from the 40m2 terrace or from the pier on the river, or just read a book under one of the decades old trees. Just enjoy life! The space During the renovation the basic characteristics of the 1929 built house were preserved including the original wooden ceiling, the room allocation, but it was modernised to offer the highest living standards (ground heating, air conditioning, washing machine, dryer, dish washer - and we have wifi and 65 inch televison with Netflix and HBO GO if you came with teenagers). From the master bedroom and from the living room with a 3m table with 16 chairs in the house you have a view on the river and you can have your morning coffee on one of the two terraces or start the day with yoga on the pier. After a good swim read a book or play football with kids and friends in the garden.

Take walks by the river, walk to the of of the spacial water mills of the region which is a museum or the nearest village with grocery and restaurant. The best option is to come from the direction Bratislava/Senec or Galanta by car. Public bus transport is in the nearby village Cierna Voda, 3.5km away.
