The lodges are designed in a Nordic style with a generous use of local natural materials such as wood and stone, as well as metal and glass. The lodges benefit from stunning mountain views in a serene, natural setting while offering the necessary amenities of a modern “big city” living. In order to create a comfortable life and work environment for our guests, we: • Arranged a fast fiber-optic Internet connection (up to 100 Mbit/sec); • Created 50 square meters of open space with a stunning six meter ceiling, prompting new ideas and creative solutions; • Opened up the views by utilizing large panoramic windows allowing the guests to take in the mountain and sky scenery all year round, any time of the day; • Built a spacious covered terrace; • Supplied the lodges with the necessary kitchen appliances, utensils, dishes, as well as comfortable beds, linens, and towels; • Maximized privacy by dividing the space between the two lodges.

My name is Yuliia Kovalenko. Ten years before the BagriWood project started, I used to work for a big company that provides professional services. By the age of 30, I was promoted to the Board of Directors, where I was responsible for the company's commercial success. Three years ago, my husband and I decided to drastically change our lives: we wanted to live and advance our goals in a cozy and beautiful setting. That is how we came up with an idea to live and work in the mountains, yet with access to the usual comfort. We have now completed two modern lodges in Yaremche, Ukraine. Naturally, we felt it was our responsibility to keep the environmental impact to the minimum, hence we took several measures to achieve this goal: • Buildings are highly energy efficient thanks to the use of modern materials and triple glazed windows. The insulation was co-funded by the EBRD's IQ Energy Program; • The wastewater is treated by an autonomous septic tank with a three-step purification process; • Toiletry dispensers (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, soap) are provided which encourage reduction in the use of disposable products; • Waste recycling is available.

BagriWood Lodges is a new space in the Carpathian Mountains, specifically created for comfortable living, productive work, and relaxation. While being located just 2km away from the train station and the city center, the lodges are located in the most scenic part of Yaremche, where you can immediately feel the cool mountain air, enjoy the scenery and the tranquillity, only interrupted only by the sound of a nearby stream and a small waterfall. Convenience stores, grocery markets, and restaurants are available within 1.0 - 2.5 km from the BagriWood Lodges. The «Bagrivets» ski lift for the beginners is just 300m away. For the convenience and comfort of our guests, we recommend doing some grocery shopping prior to arrival, as well as taking a taxi or a car to the lodges for the first time. The road connecting BagriWood Lodges to the city center is accessible all year round, and it is illuminated at night. The road along the Bagrivets stream is very picturesque at any time of the year. There are horse trails so that one can ride a horse in summer and sled on a traditional wooden sleigh in winter. Also, there are many pedestrian routes of different complexity.
