The West End is the most quiet and peaceful neighborhood in Aspen and boasts some of the most beautiful homes and oldest growth trees, but, is also a short 10 minute walk to Aspen's downtown core and all its attractions and activities. Or, an easy walk to the 8th Street public shuttle stop provides hassle free access to the Aspen core, all 4 ski areas, and the entire valley. This neighboorhood is closed to all traffic except residents, making it the ideal setting for walking and cycling in peace and quiet. Very safe for children and surrounded by nature. The core downtown is an easy and lovely 10 minute walk through the charming West End, or, the free 8th Street shuttle which runs frequently takes approximately 3 to 5 minutes.
