I work in urban public education as a Dean of Students and also own and run a real estate investment and management company. I have so many varied interests but the major ones are helping teach financial literacy, the power of homeownership, including how to buy a home with very little money, and entrepreneurship to members of communities often excluded from those activities. I also love training in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiujitsu, gardening, design, architecture, all things mental health and breaking down the stigmas surrounding mental health, especially for men, my motorcycle and bicycle, and making delicious cocktails.

This is truly an amazing neighborhood. It's family and singles-friendly alike. The Avenue (Passyunk Ave.) is about a block away and is the center of the goings on around here, with world class dining, fantastic boutique gift shops, and great beer and whisky bars, thought there is plenty to explore off of the Avenue, as well. We have some of the best food in the world, both the fancy & creative kind and just plain insanely delicious ethnic options from all over the world, thanks to the melting pot that is South Philadelphia. Want to dance but don't love the club-bro-vibe of your typical club? We got you covered - less than 2 blocks from my door is the "the Dolphin." The Dolphin Tavern is a gem of the neighborhood and is welcoming and full of all sorts of interesting people. It's a 15-20 minute walk, or faster subway ride, to get Center City with all the tourist and historical spots. The local subway stop is only 1.5 blocks away from my door. If you're here around during the Christian holiday season, there is the nationally famous Miracle on South 13th Street less than a block away. It is one of the coolest light displays I've ever seen and I don't even like Christmas lights!
