We have long loved the unique beauty and extensive recreation Central Oregon has to offer—so much so that we decided to buy a vacation home in Eagle Crest Resort to allow us to enjoy it more often! After all our years going to the area, the majestic views of the many surrounding Cascade Mountains—the Three Sisters, Mt. Jefferson, Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, Mt. Bachelor—still take our breath away and make us stop driving and pull over at times to appreciate them. Our kids have grown up enjoying the area with us year round, from skiing and tubing at the ski resorts in the winter, to floating the Deschutes River all afternoon and stargazing on warm summer nights, to hiking at Smith Rock State Park at the peak of its autumn beauty.
