Escape to the North Georgia mountains at the peaceful and secluded Lazy Laurel! Our cabin is centrally located less than 20 minutes from the downtowns, wineries and orchards of Blue Ridge and Ellijay and 30 minutes from the Ocoee river rafting area. Relax in our peaceful setting with year-round mountain views and sounds from nearby waterfalls. Our cozy cabin is a great place to escape and unwind or to use as a home base for our area's great activities. Bring your fur baby for no extra charge! Highlights: • Secluded setting at the end of a small mountain neighborhood with year-round mountain views and sounds from nearby Fightingtown Creek. • King bed and bath upstairs, queen bed and bath downstairs. • Large porch with dog gate, gas grill and outdoor dining area. • Hot tub. • Large fire pit area. • Game room with pool table, air hockey, darts, large smart TV and pull-out sofa. • Cozy living room with cathedral ceilings and gas fireplace. • Fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops.
We’re a family of four (2 boys), with 2 dogs, cats, bees and chickens. As native Floridians, we've always loved to escape to the mountains of North Georgia. We fell in love with the Blue Ridge area and found the perfect cabin to purchase in 2024. Opening our cabin to guest while we aren't using it has been really rewarding and we are so happy that people love the cabin and areas as much as we do! Our cleaner is amazing, as mentioned in a lot of our reviews and we are available at all hours for any questions.
Our cabin is located in the cul-de-sac with a paved driveway that has enough room to turn around in any weather. Even though you can't see them once you are at our our cabin, our little street has around 8 other cabins and is a great place for an evening walk to enjoy the great mountain views. For the more active guests, the waterfalls of Fightingtown Creek are a short hike down the mountain below our property. Ellijay is 20 minutes to our South and Blue Ridge is 20 minutes to our North East, making the cabin the perfect central location for your North Georgia mountain getaway!
