Keauhou Akahi 302 borders the Kona Country Club golf course and is located in the Keauhou resort area, less than 15 minutes south of Kailua-Kona. After your visit to this historic park, stop at Two Step Beach, where you can find some of the best snorkeling on the island or, if you’re lucky, spot dolphins swimming in Honaunau Bay. Another great place to enjoy underwater marine life is historic Kealakekua Bay. Be sure to seek out the Captain Cook Monument, where the famed explorer was killed by native Hawaiians in 1779.
