Welcome to our home. We are Donna and Bob, a married couple, and we have a nice clean room ready for you in our 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom one-story house in a friendly, walkable neighborhood named Tierrasanta. This bedroom has a queen bed with a soft mattress. One side of the bed is next to a wall. The bedroom is on the smaller side (10’x9’). There are mirrored closet doors. The closet is 4’ wide. You would be using the hall bathroom which is shared. The bathroom has one sink and a tub/shower combination. We are centrally located with quick entry onto freeways 15, 52 & 163. Bob, a San Diego native, is happy to discuss local attractions with you. We are walking distance to pizza and sushi restaurants, a pub, and Vons grocery. We have two happy, friendly cat ambassadors. Due to an allergy / medical condition: - No fragrance such as perfume or cologne - No smoking / no vaping - No clothing with residual smoke on it EATING & DRINKING AREAS: All eating and drinking is to be done in the dining room or back patio. Please do not eat or drink in the bedroom. Water is okay in the bedroom. SHOES: We have a shoes-off house. If you step outside, please wear your shoes. Walking outside barefoot or in socks brings dirt into the house. RESIDENT CATS: • We have two happy friendly cats. If you dislike cats or are afraid of them, please do not stay here. We aim for all our guests to be comfortable. Ginger is the orange cat, and Pudder looks like a Siamese cat. • The cat bowls are located on the peninsula (secondary counter) because Donna had a previous back injury and is not routinely bending down to the floor. Occasionally you may find the cats napping on the peninsula. • Donna will be delighted to give you treats for the cats.. EARLY CHECK-IN: Normal check-in time starts at 5:00 PM. An early check-in on a mutually pre-arranged case-by-case basis may be possible. If we are able to accommodate a mutually pre-arranged check-in agreement starting at 4:00 PM, there is no charge.

Our home is the single-family home portion of Tierrasanta known as Villa Monserate. Tierrasanta is a residential community in San Diego, California, known for its extensive open spaces, including Mission Trails Regional Park, and a blend of housing options like single-family homes, townhouses, and apartments. The area is a haven for outdoor activities, with residents enjoying hiking and biking in the numerous canyon systems. For nearby hiking and walking exercise: (1) There are 111 steps (Stairway to Hell) leading straight up to the schoolyard around the corner from our house. It’s like a Stairmaster as you are climbing: (2) There is a short hiking trail at the end of our street, Carioca Ct.
