Leo's parents and grandparents come from a long line of Swiss mountaineers and rock climbers. In fact some of the equipment (jumars) used by our tree climbing activity was first tested by Leo's granddad in the Swiss Alps. The company has allowed Leo to share his love of nature, climbing, and environmental topics to a larger audience. Leo has the goal of creating a system to open all parks to recreational tree climbing in Oregon. He also wants to create a realistic artificial giant 400ft old-growth tree in downtown Portland , as a fun indoor climbing activity, and as an educational reminder of the ancient forest we lost in America. When not climbing you will find Leo playing board/video games, cooking, dancing bachata and swing, surfing, rock climbing, reading science fiction, dreaming and traveling.

Famous for its “Trail of Ten Falls” , it has 10 giant waterfalls in a 7 mile loop, with lots of cultural and historical interests.
