We are both artists and love guests. Elmarie is a commercial artist with her studio on the premises. Pieter studied Fine art, but enjoys reclaiming old things and re using them in the yard. We will always try and make your stay with us as memorable and special as is possible.

The building was built in 1905 and used to be the boarding school for girls. The property is being run by two artists and has been uniquely decorated to reflect their style. Accommodation at Ark Gastehuis and B&B comprises 8 rooms which are unique and artfully decorated and all have outside access. These rooms are equipped with en-suite bathrooms with one room with a bath and other 7 with shower. Other amenities include tea- and coffee-making facilities and snack baskets. 5 of the rooms have air-conditioning and 3 with fans. TV with selected channels. Rooms is booked on a room only basis, but breakfast can be arranged ahead of time at extra cost. Free Wi-fi is available on the property. The guest house features a small splash pool, carnival games area, braai area and a communal lounge with board games, books and puzzles. The big yard also features a variety of keepsakes from the days gone by, a treasure hunt and local craft shop called the Williston mall. Secure, off-street parking is available for vehicles.
