'Hoboken Holiday Cottage' located in a village known as Glentana in the Western Cape. The Cottage is comfortable that has everything you'll need, it'll be very much like, home away from home. The Cottage has great fibre where you can work or download photos, ready for your next destination, enjoying the background sound of the sea. Early morning sunrise and sunset beach walks are easy accessible thru our back gate to the beach, only 40 meters to the beach... The cottage has a Main Bedroom (Queen Size Bed), then a queen size pull out cuboard Murphy bed in the Living room, very simular to a bed in an hotel room (open plan) . We have Victron Solar system, with a Blue Nova battery backup system.... The open plan kitchen has a 4 plate Defy Gas stove (No oven), but does have an air fryer, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and all kitchen ware at your finger tips We have a Weber Braai / Barbeque and Gas Braai....
We'll welcome you on arrival, ensure that you comfortable, share with you about what available in our are. and settled. We walk you through the property, as well as show to access to the beach 40m away..... We are available to help understand our coastline, safety concerns and interesting spots to visit.... We available at all times should you have any needs during your stay and well come to just chat over a drink or two.
Hoboken Holiday Cottage, was named after a Village 'Hoboken' in New Jersey, USA. A village we loved, while working at Merrill Lynch, Manhattan - New York. Glentana is a village run by Mosselbay Municipality, voted the best run Municipality for a number of years in South Africa. The village was established in the early 20th century, when the first houses in the area were built. Beautiful Beach, stunning sun rises and sun sets, with daily views of dolphins. Whales sightings are seasonal during our cooler months. This is where you can sit and rest with that constant sound of the sea... 1.8km walk or drive to restaurants - 'Glentana Cafe' or 'Meet at Sea'. Shuttle services (Bolt) can be arranged in the area.
