Salted Fynbos Staying was established in July 2021, during the lockdown period, as a side hustle. Since inception we've been very blessed and the business has grown much faster & larger than we've ever imagined, currently managing nearly 50 properties in Gansbaai & Pearly Beach area. June 2022 Sanmarie & her husband, Rynhardt's first child was born, after which Sanmarie decided to leave her fulltime job and focus solely on her family and her business. This property is managed by Salted Fynbos Staying. This is a large open plan house, secluded and surrounded by Fynbos flowers and dunes. Guests are spoiled with lovely sea views from the living room, kitchen and even from your bed! The house is quite secluded, so no neighbors will be bothering you (or be bothered by you), providing total privacy. No worries about loud music. We've not had any safety issues or incidents. The house operates completely off the grid, on solar panels and gas. The house has 2 main bedrooms, each with an open plan en-suite bathroom, fire place and large sliding doors opening onto the grass area in front of the house. The third bedroom also has an open plan en-suite bathroom. The covered patio in front of the house is ideal for summer days, equipped with a portable stainless steal outdoor braai and picnic bench.

The house is roughly 10km's drive from the closest fisherman's village, Pearly Beach (or a 1km beach walk to Pearly Beach). Pearly Beach is known for it's ideal fishing spots, as well as the long white sandy beaches, ideal for long walks, swimming, surfing, kite surfing, picnics, horse riding etc. In Pearly Beach there are 3 restaurants, 2 shops and 1 petrol/diesel pump. Next largest town is Gansbaai, 23km from the house. Here you'll find larger shops & grocery stores, such as OK foods and Spar. Activities in the area are endless! Shark cage diving, whale watching, fat bike dune tours, swimming with horses, crocodile diving, visiting rehabilitated penguins, cycling (MTB) routes, hiking trails, wine farm visits, historical cave visits, fishing, and many more!
