The pousada is located inside the historic city of Ouro Preto. For a parking spot you have to look out nearby, but despite there was an event in the city the same day, it didn’t take too much time to find one. The family-owned house and the rooms are furnished very comfortable matching the historic city of Ouro Preto. Sometimes we felt on a time-travel but definitely a nice one… Restaurants and tourist attractions are in walking distance. The breakfast was outstanding, probably the best we ever had on our trips.

This was our favourite place we stayed in Minas Gerais, and it is because of the brilliant owners and their team. Simply the friendliest and most helpful place we have been in Brazil, with tips on where to go and what to see, an amazing breakfast, beautifully presented, with an option to be served in a stand alone conservatory area or in your room, and an ideal location just outside of Ouro Preto but easy to get into town when you want to. Our children were so looked after and happy, could not ask for more. We'll be back!

Nice view and pool. Cleanliness is good. Breakfast is good. The bed was comfortable and the shower is nice and hot. It is a bit outside the city, which worked well for us, because we left the car there and got a taxi/PamPam (the local Uber) for R$15-20 every time we needed to go to the tourist centre of town and didn't need to navigate the narrow and busy streets ourselves by car.
